  1. Dear Annie, there is no business of music. There is music, and there is business. Occasionally they will cross paths in a way that is not destructive, but not often. Hang on to the music part, that’s the key.

    Thanks for your comment and your support. I will hang on!

    I’m not positive I agree with you on the “There is music, and there is business.” I know you can do one without the other. I sing and write because I must, it’s engrained and in the fiber of who I am. But I still need to pay my bills

    I’ve always wanted a business manager to appear in my life – ready, willing and passionate – to take on AnnieMac, so I can just do the art part, but until that happens, regrettably I am in the business of music.
